That's right, and this group is becoming a vehicle for off topic,
juvenile chit chat. I knew exactly what the word meant when I chose to
use it.

There is always room for some off topic comments, but a constant diet
by a few who compulsively add their two cents to this group is
seriously diluting the very reason for the group....to talk about all
things that relate to clarinet, clarinet playing, clarinet music,
clarinet teaching, clarinet fixing, etc.

While those who do this seem to feel there is nothing wrong with it,
they fail to realize that it will eventually drive away many who have
substantive and important information to share.

I'm thinking seriously of giving this group a rest. If the banal patter
continues at present levels I will unsubscribe before this month is
over.
