You really want to hear a roomful of people who've never picked up a
clarinet before blow into mouthpieces all day long? We did one of those
contemporary pieces in my clarinet choir in college where we all had to play
on just our mouthpieces for a few measures. It was like something you would
be subject to in hell! Do you have some ear plugs?

Dear list,

See? Richard can be polite. Others should try it! To those of you who are
polite like Richard I will appologize for this post. Ask nicely, and you
shall recieve.

Now back to the topic...do do do da da da tra la la HERE WE GO!!!!

I just thought of a good idea for my project! What if I got some mouthpieces
and used volunteers to demonstrate? Like let them blow into it as the would
guess it is done and then attempt to correct them? Is this good? I'm really
scared and I am dreading the day I do this! I have to prepare something to
play for them too!
