I don't know if it's in the 'Internet spirit' to exclude conversion
because some members have heard all of it before. If raising an old
subject were forbidden, then no new member would be allowed to ask about
alternate fingerings or anything else.

Nevertheless, I agree that it's time for me to shut up on this topic.
So I will do so.

No permanent hard feelings, I hope. Certainly there are none on my
part because I appreciate the concepts to which I have been exposed here
for the first time. If you look back carefully at the thread, I think
you can see that we've covered quite a bit of territory, and portions of
it may have been 'new education' for a portion of us on this List.
