I don't remember who posted this particular question,
but I believe I have an answer.

I'm pretty sure that the oboe is NOT used in the
Mozart Concerto. If memory serves me correct, the
info i read said that oboes aren't used because it
would.....lemme remember how they put
it......basically it would take attention away from
the solo clarinet.
