Subj: [kl] Allen Levin's note on Schifrin and the DickinsonCollege trio

This note gives rise to an interesting observation. When one plays with
superior players, I think one is capable of rising to higher levels of
performance standards. So the fact that Allen's observation suggests
that a trio in residence played just so-so normally but rose up to play
far better when Shifrin was with them, is a confirmation of my hypothesis.
