perhaps you student's tone problem is not embrochure related. Is she
breathing from below the belt line? Is she playing too soft a reed? Is there
a leak on her clarient? If you think it is the embrochure and none of these
other things, is she closing with the corners? Is she keeping her embrochure
steady and not moving it? Has she got too much pressure on the top of the
mouthpiece?
