Dear Sam,

What year in school are you?
What are the possibilities of transferring to another school in North
Carolina, either private or public, that has a clarinet instructor?

Mars Hill College has a wonderful clarinet instructor, who also happens
to be a member of this list! Also, East Carolina University is a
wonderful school as well, and as it is a public university, the expense
would not be as much.

Let us know what you decide to do. Write to me offlist if you need to
talk - or contact me via IM-

(My oldest daughter is in her freshman year at VCU - and I finished my
bachelor of music ed. there as well, in 1980, in addition to doing
further studies in several places - we can discuss this off list)
