Having now read all the postings I think I am wrong about the oboe - but

Plus two horns and two each of oboe and bassoon if I recall. It
certainly has horns and certainly isn't strings. As far as horns are
concerned the minimum number is two and the maximum number is two.

And the string section should be small.

Its a funny thing, but I never even thought about the instrumentation
for
K622, but my guess at listening to it a zillion times is that it only
uses
strings.
