Sam, If this is the same guy I'm thinking of this man has worked on my
clarinet before and in fact, I purchased my Buffet Evette E flat =
clarinet
from him. He used to have a shop on Watertown Plank Road and when it =
didn't
do very well he moved his shop into his home in Brookfield. He did a =
fairly
good job with the instruments but he was extremely disorganized and I =
later
heard from someone that the guy "lost" the keywork from his clarinet in =
the
process of doing an overhaul. He told the guy some story about having =
to
send the keys to the Buffet company in France and them being lost in the
mail.
I'm surprised he's still in business at all. He seemed very =
nice-like I
said super disorganized. I'm sure there is truth to this story. =20
