Hmmm...

After looking at Elon on the map (MapQuest) I don't think you
are near ANY repairpeople I know. Joint cork for a tenon should
take minutes, not weeks, so I wouldn't go back to THAT person
either.

Depending on when your jury is, I bet Guy Chadash could do a
complete overhaul in a few days, or less if it required less
than an overhaul. Try him at...

call and get an estimate about time and $ for the repairs, give
him a call at 212-239-7187 (and tell him Kelly Abraham sent
you...probably won't get you a better price, but he might
expedite his schedule to work you in if you are referred.) His
prices in the past have been MUCH less than well respected
people like the Brannen Woodwind Co in Chicago (his price was
over $100 LESS for an overhaul at the time,) and Guy's work is
immaculate. Guy is also respected as one of the formost clarinet
craftsmen in the country, and does work directly for Buffet as
well, so he's NO slouch, by any means.
