Have just bought - for the bedroom - a Sony SLV-D900G. Haven't used the
video bit yet but the DVD compares well to the expensive Sony I have
downstairs. Both TVs are Sony - widescreen downstairs and portable
upstairs.

It was UKP250 and certainly is capable of playing non clarinet DVD's!

reliable one, with model numbers and perhaps price.

OK- I'll only play CLARINET dvds and tapes on it.
