Sam,

Where are you located? Some of us might be able to help you find
a top notch clarinet repairperson/craftsperson to do a partial
or full overhaul of your clarinet. If your clarinet teacher is
really a sax player who doubles a bit, they might not even know
where to go themself.

I also agree with some of the other peoples' comments (Bill
Hausmann comes to mind, correct me if I am remembering the wrong
person) about if your juries are coming up, it would seem like a
"looking over" by a qualified person one day out of your
practice time, could make all the difference in the world in
your juries because the clarinet would operate better.

Just a thought...
