respect in this case being respect for the possibilities a situation
presents.

it seems to me that i have encountered more undesirable relationships
through people pretending to be something they're not over people being
something they are. trust is 'good cowboys wear white hats.' trust is
looking at the list of priests (17 in my county i believe?) who use their
station to abuse children.
