Hello,
I have been lurking on the list for a while now and would like to
introduce myself. I played clarinet in school, got a degree in music in
the 80's and took a job in the sporting goods industry. I quit playing
for almost 20 years and began playing regularly again about 4 years
years ago. I play in a local community orchestra and in some chamber
groups.
I have a question regarding an early edition of Klose. Someone posted
a link to the Library of Congress which has the 1881 edition of Klose.
I picked up a copy of this edition in a used book store years ago and it
is tattered and worn. Parts of the back appear to have been eaten by
something. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to protect it from
further disintegration?
