Have you ever cleaned the keys? Was it essential? If yes and yes -
silver.

If no to the first (assuming that they are not now black) then it is
nickel.

If yes and no then nickel

Go hold it up to one of your fellow clarinet buddy's plastic clarinet.
Their
keys should be a lot duller if your's are silver.
