...well, this is probably worth only one or two paragraphs in a term
paper; but how, with items found easily in every residence (but without
consulting a text book), would you demonstrate that, unlike a trumpet,
all but the lowest notes of a clarinet are mostly emitted (radiated)
from the tone holes rather than out the end of the instrument?
If this is true, what **does** the bell do? (probably you need a
textbook to answer the second question)
