It's actually "Portable Document Format" but you're very close. I'm still a
little confused, though. If a .pdf is too large for your computer, you are
in serious need of a new computer. I am required to convert all of my
graphics into .pdf format so that they are small enough to email. I feel
sorry for those of you with webtv. You are missing out on some important
things.

<heh!> I find some humor in the fact that "PDF", which stands for
"Portable Data Format" or something similar, is NOT completely portable
because it's too large for some computers.

In my case, I can hear the Gershwin gliss on OU's web page, but I can't
read the text. Twisted priorities --- that's what it is.

Imagine the frustrations when (someday) daily life becomes so complex
that the avereage person can't survive without a brain jack, and yet
there are _still_ proprietary wars.
