Subj: [kl] 1939 Polish Ligature

The early scenes went by pretty fast, but did anyone else notice that the
Polish street clarinetist in the Roman Polanski movie "The Pianist" appeared
to be using an inverted, single screw, fabric ligature which looked very much
like a modern Rovner/BG/et. al. ligature? In the final scene, when the
camera pans the symphony orchestra, the clarinetists now appear to be using
more traditional double screws (on the bottom), metal ligatures. Any movie
continuity freaks out there?
