I thought some of you might be interested in this concert:

The Northshore Concert Band (Evanston, Illinois) welcomes clarinetist
Russell Dagon to the stage for a concert on Sunday, April 6th. Mr.
Dagon was principal clarinetist for the Milwaukee Symphony from
1969-1999 and is now professor of clarinet at Northwestern University.
He will perform Carl Maria von Weber's "Concertino" and "Polonaise" from
the opera "Mignon" by Ambroise Thomas under the baton of principal guest
conductor Mallory Thompson (Director of Bands, Northwestern University).
Dr. Thompson will present a moving and rousing program also including
the following selections:

Leonard Bernstein's "Overture to Candide"
Frank Ticheli's arrangement of "Shenandoah"
Fisher Tull's "Sketches on a Tudor Psalm"
David Maslanka's "Finale from Symphony #2"

Don't miss this extraordinary spring program this Sunday, April 6th at
3:00 pm in Northwestern University's Pick-Staiger Concert Hall (50 Arts
