Clarinet sound?

Have other people play your clarinet with your mouthpiece and your reed. You will probably come to the same conclusion I did. The shape or the oral cavity does make a difference and so does what is going on at the rear of the cavity. The later has an effect not only on tone but intonation also as well as response in the top octave.

I'd bet you would fill the room and I'd be interested to see what the reps from the manufacturers would say, as I'm sure they would have their own take on the subject.

I am not trying to be sarcastic here, I want to know your view. If I listen long enough, maybe you can really convince me that I don't really hear that difference that I think I do. Thanks.
