Waltons in Dublin has a web page:

http://www.waltonsirishmusic.com/

I didn't see even one clarinet while I was in Ireland, but Walton's
certainly has Irish sheet music of many diffferent levels of complexity
for many wind instruments such as flute and whistle. There'd be some
transposing to do (if not playing solo), but Walton's certainly has
sheet music that would challenge your student and would fit 100% with
the music to which she's used to dancing.

In particular ---- I bought an excellent book named "Timber, The Flute
Tutor" by Fintan Vallely which explains in **practical** and
**understandable** detail the basic Celtic ornaments and rhythms, plus
it gives a dozen or so tunes which illustrate the application thereof.
It's a $10-$15 book. I suspect that it would be available in the U.S.
A motivated student could apply these basic patterns to 'simple Irish
tunes'. In fact, this is what young folk do in the pubs hour after
hour after hour.... they start with a simple tune and work up to faster
tempo with various ornaments and rhythms.

.....not for the lazy clarinetist, however!
