Hi, if you want to adjust your mic stand without putting down your clarinet,
you need a special stand operable with one hand. Not many are available.
One such stand was Atlas (or Valan Atlas) PMS3. It had a three section heavy
cast fixed foot, and a twist grip handle on the main stem. The operation
was pneumatic. Unfortunately the firm went out of business some time ago.
Anyone out there got one for sale?
