I use my C whenever possible. Recently I played the "Merry Wives of Windsor"
Overture on C, which made it a lot easier than transposing. The blend and
intonation was better with the flutes and oboes.

The C is really valuable in Italian opera, especially Rossini and Donizetti,
since the parts are usually for the C and rather high.

BTW I have a Noblet C, which has excellent intonation and sound. For about
$1400 it's a good value for anyone looking for a C. I had one of the Buffet
E-11 C's on approval recently and the Noblet is a much better instrument for
a little more money.
