A few weeks ago, we read through this symphony in a reading session in the Los Alamos Symphony
Orchestra. The librarian handed me a Bb part, and I complained loudly, saying I knew it was
supposed to be in C. Somewhat incredulously, she dug the C part out of the stack, and I played
the part on the proper instrument. I was thinking at the time that Dan Leeson would be proud.

This is by no means the first time I've used the C clarinet in the orchestra, though.
