On the May concert for the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra, we have scheduled the Bizet "Symphonie in C Major".

Last Sunday, the librarian passed out the clarinet parts, giving me two parts, one in Bb, the other(and I would guess the original) in "C".

So, tomorrow I'm taking my new "C" clarinet to an orchestra rehearsal for the first time.

What about the rest of you? Has anyone tackled the Bizet lately, using a "C" clarinet? What were the reactions of the conductor and the other members of the woodwind section?
