Yep, I remember mine, and I recently got each of my kids one,
and they sounded TERRIBLE!!!! I don't remember mine sounding
like that!
Then, there were the tonettes, which is what I played in 3rd grade,
they were black, and more sweet potato shaped. I think I remember
them being made out of a heavier plastic than the flutophone, which
is the white-and-red-clarinet-shaped one.
