Oh my goodness!!!!!! That's awful! One time when I was marching, my shoe
came completely untied and I was afraid I was going to trip over it, yet I
was even more afraid that I would get out of step if I worried about it OR
if my band director saw it. Luckily, it was a night parade, and when the
vehicle in front of us stopped momentarily, I handed off my clarinet and
tied my shoe very quickly. I think I set a record for shoe tying time that
day. :)
