Even shiny silver keys, like people, will have moments of tarnish.

Depending upon where you live, there are repairmen who will be able to
remove or fill these scratches. (You can write me off line and maybe I
can suggest a good repairman.)

I hope that I didn't say anything that would suggest you're shallow. I
thought nothing of the sort. If I did, I apologize.
