I'd say, they're unreasonable. Maybe you should make plans to move out
when you turn 18.

Doesn't sound like it was your fault. Quit feeling guilty.

If your parents are adamant about their decision to withhold your two
grand baby, I'd take up the case with a school councilor.

Also, the cosmetic scratches can be fixed so that you wouldn't be able
to see them unless you hold it under the sun at high noon at the
equator.
