When do you turn 18? Not playing the horn will probably do it more harm
than a couple scratches.

Accidents happen... I had my bass clarinet knocked off a stand once (a =
nice
Buffet Prestige Low C instrument) and it got scratched and a couple keys
were bent. Still plays fine today. As long as the bore of the =
instrument
isn't scratched, your damage is purely cosmetic.

As for the scratches, think about polishing the wood a bit. I find a =
little
bit of sweet almond oil applied and buffed makes most blemishes =
disappear.
