Bill -

You need to give this "spherical Barrel" thing up.

It won't work. Disruptipon in the cylindrical bore of even a few thousandths of an inch can cause major intonation problems.

In your "barrel", you would have to have exit and entrance points for the mouthpiece and the upper joint close to 14.76 +, or you would drastically impede the airstream, making the instrument unplayable. To start with these measurements, then expand outward to create a spherical shape would result in a scale that would bear no resemblance to anything used in western music. You would have throat tones at least a half step to a whole step flat, then incrementally sharper until you get to whatever pitch the low "E" would be.

I'm not interested in taking your money for something that I know cannot work.
