I can't place it right now, Jeremy, but Nick Duke definitely sounds
familiar. There was a Megan in my clarinet choir for a while. I think she
was close to 1st chair in the actual band, too. I'm not sure I ever knew
her last name.

Oh, you must be talking ole Michael B. He gave me a talking to one day for
sleeping through his class. He did let me redo a project that I didn't
fully understand without penalty, so I try not to hold anything against him.
I think I slept through a lot of that class.

I hope this isn't too much chit chat for ya, Walter! ;)

Hi Wendy, welcome to the list. It's amazing how small of a world it can be
sometimes. I'll just say that I have some, um, intimate family links to
the Arizona Anthropology department (I was born and raised in Tucson)...

Let's see, clarinet players at Arizona around that time... do you know
Nick Duke? Megan, um, I can't remember her last name?

If you find yourself intrigued by Klezmer music, find your way to
http://www.tara.com, the authoritative source for anything related to
Jewish music. Check out the book/CD set "The Compleat Klezmer" by Henry
Sapoznik and the expansive CD section.
