I'm still working on the old digest, so I'm not responding to any new
messages. But I can't resist throwing this out to the list. I talked to an
oboist friend tonight about the issue and he reminded me of some medieval
instruments. What about Krumhorns and Racketts? They are both doublereed,
cylindrical bored instruments. What do they overblow?
