I just cancelled my spot at New England Music Camp for this summer because I
just can't afford to go this year, so I am looking for another way to spend
my summer and grow as a musician.

I am really thinking hard about my options. So far I can...

A)Find a different camp
B)Stay in WV, play in the pit orchestra, and be here for my senior year of
summer band and actually participate in marching band for the full time for
once. I probably would not have time for lessons.
C)Enlist in the army reserve band and get training over with. Even though I
would not be able to practice at all over the summer, I would be paid to
play when I come back.
D)Sulk
E)Try to get a job, but if I stay in WV I will fail band if I do not
participate in the marching band. I can't do both.

Choices, choices.

I ask now because if I decide to go to another camp, I have to do it soon.
Any suggestions other than Blue Lakes? I need somewhere closer by to look
at.
