I had B45 that was wonderful to use and saw many years of use - it was a =
pit
musician's dream, as it was open enough to play decent jazz, but not so =
open
that it made playing with a more classic tone difficult. Unfortunately, =
it
was broken a couple of years ago, and the newer B45s that I tried (and I
tried a LOT of them) seemed to have lost the magic - I had a lot more
problem with squeaking with most of 'em, for one thing. =20

For general purpose playing, I now use a Fobes Nova - it's free-blowing, =
no
introduced issues with intonation, and I enjoy the sound that is =
produced
when I use the mouthpiece. I also have a Woodwind K10 (came with the =
horn,
but it's a decent mouthpiece!) a Roger Garrett DL that is a nice smooth
orchestral mouthpiece, and a Pomarico crystal mouthpiece that also gets =
a
fair amount of play time.
