I've been unhappy with my B45-13 and B45 Lyre to the point where I now play
a Fobes Debut (until I finish my mouthpiece search in New York next week,
hopefully). The B45s require me to use a short barrel which makes intonation
uneven register to register. They are also squeaky for me and have dead
spots like low D. Your mileage will definitely vary, these are mouthpieces,
after all.
