I've been using participating in e-mail discussion groups since
1985. Every so often some technologically challenged subscriber tries to
enforce his ill-conceived opinion on everyone else. The best advice
finally emerges: If you don't like a message or a thread learn how to use
your delete key. One person's useless information is another's
treasure. I get close to 300 messages a day, most of which get deleted
after a quick scan of the subject lines.
