Al,

I didn't see the first posting, but also I don't tend to run in
those circles. You might try calling the music union (local 802)
at (212) 245-4802 and ask if there are groups that play there at
the union office. I know there is a jazz band that meets there.
I am not sure of the "sit in" potential though. That would lead
you to people who would know about groups that do have people
"sit in".
