Subj: [kl] Alto Saxophone for sale
Date: Tue, 18 Mar 2003 16:34:48 -0500

Normally I wouldn't waste time/space on this list for an instrument-for-sale notification.

However, this is one of those "really too good not to know about" type of things.

A student of mine mentioned that she had an alto saxophone in the family, and it was unused, and could I help them sell it?

I said, sure. If nothing else, I'd put it up on eBay, since I am registered there, yadayada...

Well, they bought over a saxophone that is in all respects Brand New. WAY too nive to put on eBay!

It's a Selmer Bundy II, a student level horn.

There is not a scratch on the instrument or on the case. It looks music store NEW.

The serial number is 978432, which indicates, I believe, that it was made in 1984 or there abouts.

It plays beautifully, the low C,B, Bb just honk right on out. The mechanism is impeccable, and the pads are in great shape.

I'm going to put it up on the sneezy classifieds, and on my website, but I thought I would give klarinet listers first shot.

I'd buy it myself, except my wife hasn't gotten over my "C" clarinet purchase of last summer (joke, she has, but it's too soon to buy something else, and I have three saxophones here already.)

I'm pricing this at $700 or best offer, e-mail me if you're interested.

Regards,
Walter Grabner
