Many fo us do it, Magnus (...as do some Broadway and film
performers.....) albeit I do so in my den rather than in my living
room, even if it's not the same as playing with live musicians. Many
of us also play along with music programs on our computers.... after
we've written our own music.

Are you familiar with Oliver Seeley's web site?
