Dear Howard,

Have you experimented with using cut down versions of tuning rings to
fit between mouthpiece and the upper socket of the barrel? If so, are
tuning rings appropriate or advantageous at this juncture? Is it
possible that the application of tuning rings has focussed upon a pull
at the wrong place for all this time?
