I think it might be a leak, especially if it is only the bottom
joint with the problem. Regardless of whether someone competent
just worked on it, it could still be a misseated pad or the
joints not going together correctly. I have had clarinets come
back from some of the best in the business for overhauls with
leaks that they missed, or were just too busy to find.

I suggest getting a second opinion from another repairperson.
