Have any of you used lip wax before? I use something called Lip-Ease =
Teeth
cushion which is sort of a heavy duty wax paper that comes in a roll. =
There
is only one store in Wisconsin where I've been able to purchase it so
whenever I'm in that area I grab another roll of it. Bay Woodwind =
Products
makes it. The phone number is 805-497-8161. Fax number is: =
805-497-8208
It holds up very well and the life of a cushion can be extended by
encasing it in Saran Wrap. I've also talked to people who have been =
able to
obtain various types of cushioning products from their orthodontists and
dentists for this purpose.

Subject: [kl] cutting lower lip

My bottom teeth are crooked and as I'm starting to play more, I'm
finding the skin on the inside of my mouth below my lower lip getting
irritated. I'm not to the bleeding stage yet but I could see it
happening when my embouchure can hold up to two hours of playing.

Short of braces and caps, what are some of my choices?
