Vic,
In my case, I have quite a lot of condensation, and certain pads
seem to get really soggy, even though I blot the moisture out
from underneath them with a piece of paper towel when I
am done playing. The skin on these pads seems to loosen up
after just a few months (I play a lot, and my technician tells me
I am especially hard on them!)
So he finally replaced about four of them with cork pads. They
don't soak up the moisture like skin pads do.....
Sue
P.S. Does anyone know why some people have so much
more condensation troubles than others? Our bassoon man
says I drink too much coffee............
