There is a company in the upper peninsula of Michigan called Modern Case
Company which will make custom cases for clarinets. Around $200 for a
3-clarinet case. The exterior appears to be a hard plastic shell
similar to some suitcases; interior is styrofoam cut to fit your
instruments and covered with fabric. I don't own one yet, so cannot say
