Jonathan,

Please accept my humblest apology for my rant...I got your post
mixed up with the one about a thin case to fit in a briefcase
for an A clarinet.

I love my Wiseman quad case, and carry four instruments in my
case quite frequently.

The prices should be HALF what you were saying for a Wiseman
quad trough case costs, if you order directly from him. It
should probably be about $450-500 US, depending on the exchange
rate right now with the UK. The markup for the mailorder
companies to get the cases are ASTRONOMICAL. At LEAST $700 for
the quad case, and they usually didn't stock it, and had a 3-6
month wait once paid for. Howard should have one to you in less
than 2 months.

Again, my apologies for mistaking your post for a different one.
(also, apologies to Spencer, who had the original "thin A
clarinet case" posting.)
