Will, Well you're a mile ahead of me in this respect. I'm one of those =
who
can't figure out how to use the DVD player we got for Christmas. I have =
to
ask my 12 year old to help. Could be the fact that I never have an
opportunity to watch movies though and have never used it before. =20
I might be able to find it myself also but if I know what it's =
called I
can ask someone to locate it. That's still no guarantee however. It =
sure
makes sense to me but I may have trouble describing this to a store =
clerk.
Maybe I'll just take the entire thing over to Radio Shack and see what I =
can
find. I make "memory tapes" for my students and I've been looking for =
an
inexpensive way to record their pieces onto CD. I finally got my =
digital
piano hooked up to the computer and I can record piano pieces this way =
but
haven't done any clarinet recordings yet with the setup-I guess I just =
need
a microphone.

Christy,
Benjamin Maas is correct about the line in jack instead of the mic. =

jack, sorry. I'm not very electronically knowledgeable, so I don't know =

what the people at radio shack would call what I'm talking about. I new =

what I needed, so I just went over there and found it myself. If anyone =

else on the list knows what I'm talking about and knows what it's =
called,=20
maybe they would share?
