I used to be dogged with the term "warm air" constantly and I had no idea
what this meant. I knew that I had to open my throat to blow warm air, but I
had no idea what it meant to open my throat. Finally I was in a reahearsal
for an honor band and the conductor told everybody to blow in their hand
normally and then open their throat and blow. I then figured out what it
felt like for my throat to be open because the air in my hand was warm! WOW!
