I'll bet a lot of the younger people on this list have been too busy to go
to many performances. My daughter has been in rehearsals and performances
constantly since mid-October (different shows). In December she had
rehearsals at school in the afternoon for Les Mis and evening rehearsals or
performances of Snoopy, The Musical. Sometimes she was eating "dinner" in
the car as I drove her from the first one to the second one. The last
performance of Les Mis is tomorrow and she is sad because it is almost over.

I know she will be happy to get more sleep and I will be happy to do less
driving (her school is a magnet school which is 15-25 minutes away
depending on traffic). I have made four round trips on quite a few
days. But I have enjoyed it too, and it is a thrill to see your child in
the spotlight singing a solo before 1,000+ people.
