Harold,

You might also want to try a Buffet "Elite" and a LeBlanc "Pete
Fountain" model. Both have projection, and there were a few of
each being played by the jazzers at ClarinetFest in New Orleans
in 2001.

Selmer 10G has a lot of power too, if you are looking for new
horns.

I have found that I can do most anything with any horn...it's
the MOUTHPIECE that makes the most difference. Try a more open
mouthpiece, and see if you don't like the instruments you have
better. Try a softer reed while you are at it...enables you to
bend more.
